An outfitter is an estate situated deep in the forest where you can stay and practice your favorite outdoor activities. These are former private hunting and fishing clubs that are now open to the public.     Saint-Alexis-des-Monts The nature enthusiasts will be delighted by the Pourvoirie du Lac Blanc, a haven of peace in the woods. Pourvoirie du Lac Blanc is a 3,500 hectare (13.5 square mile) mixed forest site including 12 lakes and 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) of hiking trails laid out for outdoor activities.     Lac Édouard Your experience starts with an agreeable boat ride towards the village. While admiring the wild beauty of the surrounding nature, you’ll be shrouded in the peaceful atmosphere of the site. In the evening, a pleasant surprise awaits you: you sleep in a tee-pee!     Lac Édouard Today, you will then stay at the legendary Triton Outfitter. In the 19th century, the outfitter was a prestigious hunting club frequented by the riches and the famous.
