Day 1 Montreal
Pick-up your vehicle and rendez-vous in the thrilling and appealing city of Montreal! Second French speaking city in the world after Paris, Montreal combines old world influences with North American modernity in a very unique way. Let yourself be charmed by the romantic streets of Old Montreal and conquer its exhilarating nights! You’ll then understand why the city has been for long time known as the “Northern New Orleans”! please note that this itinerary can also be offered with an arrival and a first night in Quebec City.

Day 2 Sainte-Catherine de la Jacques-Cartier (Québec Region)
After a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast, the moment has come to leave the big city and to continue on towards some much wilder territories. Your destination: The Duchesnay Tourist station which represents an actual gate on Canada’s great outdoors. With its great historical and natural value, the Station touristique Duchesnay is a jewel of the Quebec City area. It is located on the banks of the magnificent Lac Saint-Joseph and is mainly composed of an 89 km² deciduous forest. This majestic site, which until just recently was a school of forestry, combines all of these elements to turn your nature escapade into a memorable moment. Nestled atop a small hill on the banks of Lac Saint-Joseph, every room in the hotel has a magnificent view on the lake. The forest environment, the great facilities and the quality accommodations infrastructures ensure unforgettable stays. In winter, this is indeed the ideal place to practice a wide selection of typically Canadian winter sports. Day 5 Wendake (Région de Québec)
Continue on towards the Indian village of Wendake where you’ll visit the Traditional Huron Site “Onhoüa Chetek8e” which offers a unique opportunity for visitors to discover the history, the culture and the lifestyle of the Hurons. A Native guide will lead you in a fascinating snowshoeing excursion in the forest during which you’ll be introduced to this specific environment and to the traditional herbal medicine. You’ll then have the privilege to taste a delicious potion made out of local cedar trees. The walk ends with the visit of a burial site which allows visitors to learn more about the Huron Burial Ceremony. At around noon, you’ll be invited for a traditional Huron lunch which, if the weather allows it, will be taken outside around a bonfire. Tonight, you’ll share timeless tradition of hospitality at the Hôtel-Musée Premières Nations, unique both in its architecture and its scope. This original complex houses the museum of the Huron-Wendat culture, a four-star hotel and a gourmet restaurant whose menu is inspired by the culinary traditions of Quebec’s First Nations.
