Day 1 Vancouver
Welcome to Vancouver, one of the most beautiful and cosmopolitan cities in North America. Whether you're drawn to the city's vibrant neighborhoods or its breathtaking views, Vancouver promises a perfect blend of modernity and nature that will captivate you from the very first moment.

Day 2 Vancouver
Today, it's time to discover Vancouver! We highly suggest its aquarium, museum of anthropology, parks, including the famous Stanley Park, and unique Chinatown.

Day 3 Vancouver
Continue your exploration of Vancouver, diving into its diverse neighborhoods like trendy Kitsilano and historic Gastown. Day 4 Vancouver / Whistler
Jump into your rental car and head to Whistler, one of North America's premier ski resorts. In winter, this alpine town transforms into a snowy paradise, offering world-class skiing and snowboarding, snowshoeing, and cozy après-ski experiences in its vibrant village.

Day 6 Whistler / Whitehorse
Time to get on a plane and leave for Yukon! Upon arrival in Whitehorse, you’ll officially begin the guided portion of your journey. You’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in downtown Whitehorse. With shopping, restaurants, and major attractions all within walking distance, it’s the perfect base from which to start exploring this charming northern city—now with your guide to lead the way.

Day 7 Whitehorse
Today, discover Whitehorse, the capital of the Yukon, and its surrounding areas. During a guided tour, you will tour the city to admire the various local attractions: the old train station of the legendary White Pass & Yukon Route Railroad, the typical wooden buildings (including the old church) and the historic paddle steamer SS Klondike. In the afternoon, you will go to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve where you can observe local animals such as moose, caribou, bison, mountain goats, etc. At 9:30 p.m., departure for your first evening of observing the Northern Lights. A comfortable heated cabin or a large tent will allow you to warm up, have a snack and enjoy a hot drink. Return to the hotel around 2 a.m.

Day 8 Whitehorse
It's time to experience your snowmobile adventure! Your shuttle will take you to Fish Lake (30 min.) where you'll receive proper instructions. Then it's time for an expedition through the moving mountain landscapes of the Yukon. A light lunch will be served along the trail. The return to Whitehorse is scheduled for late afternoon. At 9:30 p.m., departure for the second evening of Northern Lights viewing. Return to the hotel around 2 a.m.

Day 9 Whitehorse
Enjoy a free day to relax. You could take a walk near the city or visit the various local artisans. They will be delighted by your visit and will be happy to teach you more about their culture and their territory! At 9:30 p.m., depart for the 3rd evening of observing the Northern Lights. Return to the hotel around 2 a.m.

Day 10 Whitehorse
Another highlight of this package is certainly this half-day dog sledding along the Takhini River and the Ibex Valley. You will first have the opportunity to meet the dogs and then receive instructions that will allow you to drive your team safely. With your team of 4 to 6 huskies, you will head straight for the adventure, and will be able to contemplate the sublime snowy landscapes of the region. At 9:30 p.m., departure for the 4th evening of observation of the Northern Lights. Return to the hotel around 2 a.m.

Day 11 Whitehorse
After these last few days full of adventure, what better way to relax than with a free morning?! In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a beautiful snowshoe walk as you head to a beautiful lake where you'll learn the basics of snowshoeing. This is the perfect opportunity to try your hand at ice fishing, a practice widely practiced in Canada. Your guide will reveal all the secrets you need to know about this activity. All that's left to do is dig some holes and hope for the fish!

Cancellation policy
If cancellation occurs:
- More than 31 days before departure: 20% of the total booking amount (excluding insurance and fixed fees)
- Between 30 and 21 days before departure: 35% of the total booking amount (excluding insurance and fixed fees)
- Between 20 and 14 days before departure: 50% of the total booking amount (excluding insurance and fixed fees)
- Between 13 and 7 days before departure: 75% of the total booking amount (excluding insurance and fixed fees)
- Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of the total booking amount (excluding insurance and fixed fees)
Regardless of the cancellation or contract modification date, the following fees are added to the standard cancellation terms above:
- Airfare fees: If your flight ticket has to be issued well in advance—often to secure the best fare—100% of the non-refundable flight costs will be charged in case of cancellation or change. In this case, the standard cancellation terms apply only to the land portion of the trip.
- Land service fees: Any non-refundable fees incurred early for firm bookings will be charged in case of cancellation.
- Insurance: Whether you purchased multi-risk or cancellation insurance, the insurance premium is non-refundable under any circumstances.
The date the written notice is received will be considered the official cancellation date and will determine the applicable cancellation fees.
Altaï Canada may also cancel a trip due to exceptional circumstances considered force majeure (e.g., volcanic eruptions, social unrest, strikes, severe weather) that could compromise the safety of participants. In such cases, all amounts paid will be fully refunded, but no additional compensation can be claimed.
