Day 1 Whitehorse
Welcome to Whitehorse ! You'll be welcomed at the airport and driven to your hotel in downtown Whitehorse where you'll be staying for the duration of this tour. All stores, banks and important sights are within easy walking distance of the hotel, so you may explore this lively northern town on your own.

Day 2 Whitehorse
Today you'll discover the capital of the Yukon and its surroundings, giving you a first impression of this wonderful country. During the city tour you'll see the old train station of the White Pass & Yukon Route railroad, the Log Skyscraper, old Log Church and the paddle wheeler SS Klondike. You'll also explore some residential areas and you'll stop at the Visitors Reception Centre. You'll also stop at the Wildlife Preserve where you'll see most of the wildlife seen in the Yukon, such as Moose, Caribou, buffalo, Dall Sheep, Big Horn Sheep, Musk Oxen and others. If possible, you might get the chance to go to the Takhini Hot Springs and enjoy a leisurely swim in the hot waters. Then, off you go for this first night aurora viewing starting at 9:30 PM. A cozy, heated cabin or wall tent with hot drinks and snacks will make your Aurora viewing even more enjoyable. You'll return to your hotel around 2:00 AM.

Day 3 Whitehorse
This is the day for your snowmobiling adventure ! A van will take you up to Fish Lake, just over half an hour away from the hotel. Here you'll get the instructions about snowmobile safety and any further instructions you'll need and then you'll head off across the lake and into some of the most beautiful mountains you may imagine! Lunch will be served on the trail and by late afternoon you'll return to Whitehorse. Enjoy your second night aurora viewing witch starts at 9:30 PM. You'll return to your hotel around 2:00 AM.

Day 4 Whitehorse
Enjoy a day at leisure. Take the time to relax for the day or visit some local shops and take the opportunity to meet with locals. You might hear some fascinating stories and observe unique ways of living in such a remote part of the world. After a great nap, your back on track for your third night aurora viewing starting at 9:30 PM. You'll be back to your hotel around 2:00 AM.

Day 5 Whitehorse
Another highlight of this tour will be this half-day dog sledding tour along the Takhini River and into the Ibex Valley west of Whitehorse. First you'll be introduced to the many dogs and instructions will be given about mushing and safety on the trail. Then you'll be assigned a team of from 4 to 6 dogs and off you go! You'll follow well prepared trails and guides will make sure that you are always in control of your teams. After having enjoying the beautiful scenry of the region, you have the time for relax at the hotel and take a nap before going on your evening adventure. Enjoy youy fourth and last night aurora viewing that begins at 9:30 PM. You'll return to your hotel around 2:00 AM.

Day 6 Whitehorse
Morning at leisure. After a short drive to a frozen lake you'll discover how to walk on snowshoes. With your fishing equipment, you'll walk onto the ice of the lake where you'll fish through a hole in the ice.

Cancellation policy
If cancellation occurs:
- More than 31 days before departure: 20% of the total booking amount (excluding insurance and fixed fees)
- Between 30 and 21 days before departure: 35% of the total booking amount (excluding insurance and fixed fees)
- Between 20 and 14 days before departure: 50% of the total booking amount (excluding insurance and fixed fees)
- Between 13 and 7 days before departure: 75% of the total booking amount (excluding insurance and fixed fees)
- Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of the total booking amount (excluding insurance and fixed fees)
Regardless of the cancellation or contract modification date, the following fees are added to the standard cancellation terms above:
- Airfare fees: If your flight ticket has to be issued well in advance—often to secure the best fare—100% of the non-refundable flight costs will be charged in case of cancellation or change. In this case, the standard cancellation terms apply only to the land portion of the trip.
- Land service fees: Any non-refundable fees incurred early for firm bookings will be charged in case of cancellation.
- Insurance: Whether you purchased multi-risk or cancellation insurance, the insurance premium is non-refundable under any circumstances.
The date the written notice is received will be considered the official cancellation date and will determine the applicable cancellation fees.
Altaï Canada may also cancel a trip due to exceptional circumstances considered force majeure (e.g., volcanic eruptions, social unrest, strikes, severe weather) that could compromise the safety of participants. In such cases, all amounts paid will be fully refunded, but no additional compensation can be claimed.
